Kamkoli Pavel, Petr a dal\u0161\u00ed ran\u00ed mision\u00e1\u0159i cestovali, zakl\u00e1dali mal\u00e9 spole\u010denstv\u00ed v\u011b\u0159\u00edc\u00edch v \u201eCestu\u201c, hnut\u00ed, kter\u00e9 kladlo d\u016fraz na Je\u017e\u00ed\u0161ovo u\u010den\u00ed, smrt a vzk\u0159\u00ed\u0161en\u00ed jako cestu k prom\u011bn\u011b. Hnut\u00ed postupn\u011b rostlo a za\u010dalo \u017e\u00edt vlastn\u00edm \u017eivotem, p\u0159ij\u00edmalo jak \u017didy, tak i ne\u017eidy, st\u00e1valo se inkluzivn\u011bj\u0161\u00edm a v\u00edce orientovan\u00fdm na milost, a\u017e se nakonec za\u010dalo naz\u00fdvat \u201ekatolick\u00fdm\u201c neboli univerz\u00e1ln\u00edm. K roku 80 n. l. se k\u0159es\u0165an\u00e9 nach\u00e1zeli a\u017e v Indii a Francii.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">C\u00edrkev u\u010d\u00ed jak \u017e\u00edt lep\u0161\u00ed \u017eivot<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Obdob\u00ed ran\u00e9 c\u00edrkve (p\u0159ibli\u017en\u011b p\u011bt set let po Je\u017e\u00ed\u0161ov\u011b vzk\u0159\u00ed\u0161en\u00ed) bylo dobou dramatick\u00fdch zm\u011bn v kultu\u0159e, politice a ekonomice. V\u0161echny tyto zm\u011bny ovlivnily v\u00fdvoj rod\u00edc\u00edho se n\u00e1bo\u017eenstv\u00ed a formovaly liturgii, ritu\u00e1ly a teologii. Historik Diana Butler Bass p\u00ed\u0161e: \u201eP\u0159es ve\u0161kerou slo\u017eitost ran\u00e9ho k\u0159es\u0165anstv\u00ed se ran\u00fdmi z\u00e1znamy o v\u00ed\u0159e t\u00e1hne p\u0159ekvapiv\u00e1 my\u0161lenka: k\u0159es\u0165anstv\u00ed se zd\u00e1 b\u00fdt \u00fasp\u011b\u0161n\u00e9, proto\u017ee prom\u011bnilo \u017eivoty lid\u00ed v chaotick\u00e9m sv\u011bt\u011b.\u201c [1] V t\u00e9to dob\u011b nebylo k\u0159es\u0165anstv\u00ed tolik o doktr\u00edn\u00e1ch nebo v\u011b\u010dn\u00e9m spasen\u00ed, ale o tom, jak \u017e\u00edt lep\u0161\u00ed \u017eivot tady a te\u010f, v r\u00e1mci \u201eBo\u017e\u00edho kr\u00e1lovstv\u00ed\u201c.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Z&nbsp;pohledu \u0158\u00edma byla c\u00edrkev p\u0159\u00edli\u0161 radik\u00e1ln\u00ed<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Z pohledu okupa\u010dn\u00edch \u0159\u00edmsk\u00fdch mocnost\u00ed byla k\u0159es\u0165ansk\u00e1 sekta radik\u00e1ln\u00ed, proto\u017ee podporovala alternativn\u00ed chov\u00e1n\u00ed, kter\u00e9 bylo atraktivn\u00ed pro ty na dn\u011b spole\u010dnosti a z\u00e1rove\u0148 ohro\u017eovalo sv\u011btov\u00fd n\u00e1zor \u0159\u00ed\u0161e. Nam\u00edsto hromad\u011bn\u00ed bohatstv\u00ed tato nov\u00e1 sekta rovnom\u011brn\u011b sd\u00edlela majetek. Stoupenci Cesty \u017eili spole\u010dn\u011b s lidmi r\u016fzn\u00fdch etnik a soci\u00e1ln\u00edch t\u0159\u00edd, m\u00edsto aby se \u0159\u00eddili t\u0159\u00eddn\u00edmi a kulturn\u00edmi normami. [2]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">C\u00edrkev na okraji spole\u010dnosti<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Zd\u00e1 se, \u017ee mnoho z toho, co Je\u017e\u00ed\u0161 u\u010dil, bylo v prvn\u00edch n\u011bkolika stech letech po jeho smrti a vzk\u0159\u00ed\u0161en\u00ed pe\u010dliv\u011b dodr\u017eov\u00e1no. Dokud byli Je\u017e\u00ed\u0161ovi n\u00e1sledovn\u00edci na dn\u011b a na okraji \u0159\u00ed\u0161e, dokud sd\u00edleli Je\u017e\u00ed\u0161\u016fv status odm\u00edtnut\u00e9ho a zrazen\u00e9ho, mohli jeho u\u010den\u00ed sn\u00e1ze pochopit. Hodnoty jako ne\u00fa\u010dast ve v\u00e1lce, jednoduch\u00fd \u017eivot, inkluzivita a l\u00e1ska k nep\u0159\u00e1tel\u016fm byly sn\u00e1ze pochopiteln\u00e9, kdy\u017e se k\u0159es\u0165an\u00e9 tajn\u011b sch\u00e1zeli v katakomb\u00e1ch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Jednoduch\u00fd \u017eivot pln\u00fd l\u00e1sky<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">N\u011bkolik spis\u016f ilustruje toto ran\u00e9 odhodl\u00e1n\u00ed k Je\u017e\u00ed\u0161ov\u00fdm u\u010den\u00edm o jednoduchosti a \u0161t\u011bdrosti. Nap\u0159\u00edklad Didach\u00e9, sestaven\u00e1 kolem roku 90 n. l., \u0159\u00edk\u00e1: \u201eSd\u00edlej v\u0161e se sv\u00fdm bratrem a ne\u0159\u00edkej, \u017ee je to tv\u00e9. Nebo\u0165 jestli\u017ee se pod\u00edl\u00ed\u0161 na tom, co je nehynouc\u00ed, o kolik v\u00edce na v\u011bcech, kter\u00e9 hnij\u00ed!\u201c [3] V t\u00e9 dob\u011b bylo k\u0159es\u0165anstv\u00ed je\u0161t\u011b \u010dist\u00e9, jednoduch\u00e9 a miluj\u00edc\u00ed, relativn\u011b nedot\u010den\u00e9 \u0159\u00ed\u0161\u00ed, racionalizac\u00ed a kompromisy.
