V\u011bdom\u00ed, du\u0161e, l\u00e1ska, Duch svat\u00fd, a to jak na individu\u00e1ln\u00ed, tak na spole\u010dn\u00e9 \u00farovni, se bohu\u017eel staly z velk\u00e9 \u010d\u00e1sti nev\u011bdom\u00fdmi! Nen\u00ed divu, \u017ee n\u011bkte\u0159\u00ed naz\u00fdvaj\u00ed Ducha svat\u00e9ho „chyb\u011bj\u00edc\u00ed osobou Nejsv\u011bt\u011bj\u0161\u00ed Trojice“. A co je je\u0161t\u011b lep\u0161\u00ed, nejsou to jen na\u0161e slzy, ale jsou vlastn\u011b samotnou Bo\u017e\u00ed p\u0159\u00edtomnost\u00ed a \u00fat\u011bchou v n\u00e1s (2 Kor 1,3-5).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

S touto Nesm\u00edrnost\u00ed se mus\u00edte spojit! Mus\u00edte se ohl\u00e9dnout za t\u00edm, co se zd\u00e1 b\u00fdt va\u0161\u00edm \u017eivotem, z m\u00edsta t\u00e9to Nesm\u00edrnosti. This year we invited a few photographers to share their vision with us in an artistic exploration for the Daily Meditations. The inspiration questions we asked each artist to create from were: How do you as an artist connect to and engage with (S)spirit and\/or tradition(s)? How can we translate deeper truths through a lens? How can we show our inherent connectedness (of humans, nature, other creatures, etc.) through imagery? This week\u2019s images by photographer Arthur Allen appear in a form inspired by early Christian\/Catholic triptych art: a threefold form that tells a unified story. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Image Inspiration:<\/strong> My point of departure for this project was a question: Do precious things Glow, or are we casting Light on them? I found no answer (in any philosophical sense) but I did notice in my searches that some images\u2014some \u201cstrikes to the eye\u201d\u2014positively wanted me to look at them. They called to me as if I had been ignoring them unfairly, the way I might ignore children\u2019s jokes while I am trying to finish taxes. My goal became to ignore them less. I was surprised by how many of these children can fill a day, how many stories they can tell, and just how dream-like their jokes are.<\/em>
