Otec Richard poukazuje na to, jak bychom mohli p\u0159ijmout \u017eivot v &#8222;chudob\u011b&#8220; i v dob\u011b dostatku a hojnosti:<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Co znamen\u00e1 b\u00fdt men\u0161\u00ed v&nbsp;chudob\u011b?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>To, \u017ee jsme opustili sv\u016fj mal\u00fd \u00fahel vid\u011bn\u00ed, je j\u00e1drem toho, co m\u00e1me na mysli pod pojmem obr\u00e1cen\u00ed, ale tak\u00e9 toho, co m\u00e1me na mysli pod pojmem franti\u0161k\u00e1nsk\u00e1 &#8222;chudoba&#8220;. Chudoba nen\u00ed jen \u017eivot v prostot\u011b, poko\u0159e, zdr\u017eenlivosti nebo dokonce nedostatku. Chudoba je, kdy\u017e uzn\u00e1me, \u017ee j\u00e1 s\u00e1m &#8211; s\u00e1m o sob\u011b &#8211; jsem do zna\u010dn\u00e9 m\u00edry bezmocn\u00fd a ne\u00fa\u010dinn\u00fd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Chudoba znamen\u00e1 tak\u00e9 nic o sob\u011b nep\u0159edst\u00edrat<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Janovo evangelium to vyjad\u0159uje dosti d\u016frazn\u011b, kdy\u017e \u0159\u00edk\u00e1, \u017ee ratolest, kter\u00e1 nez\u016fst\u00e1v\u00e1 v Je\u017e\u00ed\u0161i, &#8222;usych\u00e1 a je neu\u017eite\u010dn\u00e1&#8220; (viz Jan 15,6). Prom\u011bn\u011bn\u00e9 j\u00e1, \u017eij\u00edc\u00ed ve spojen\u00ed, u\u017e ne\u017eije v hanb\u011b nebo pop\u00edr\u00e1n\u00ed sv\u00e9 slabosti, ale dokonce se raduje, proto\u017ee nemus\u00ed p\u0159edst\u00edrat, \u017ee je v\u00edc, ne\u017e ve skute\u010dnosti je &#8211; co\u017e je nyn\u00ed v\u00edc ne\u017e dost!
